- Smith System Class Presentations:
Give the students time to research the information. Some instructors
will pass out the Smith System Class Presentation Information a week early. Giving the
students the information early will enable the students to research or review the
material. It will also give them time to come up with more colorful presentation.
You may elect to have the students give individual presentations or you
may elect to have the students get into groups to present the information. Allow some
class time for students to discuss their ideas & information. Much of the information
from the class presentations will be on the mid-term exam. Students will enjoy researching
& preparing presentations for class.
Also, you can tell students that they will receive extra bonus points if
they spend extra time on the activity. The way that you can reward the students: If the
students make posterboards, charts, graphs, mak videos, bring in pictures or excessive
amounts of research.
